Scrubkiller 3 Litre
Scrubkiller Ultra is a weed control agent specifically tailored for spot application in grassland. Boasting advanced technology, the Scrubkiller 3 Litre eliminates weeds with ease and efficiency. The product is also safe to use around plants, making it an optimal choice for outdoor areas.  The product specifically targets and controls a range of weeds including Docks, Thistles, Nettles, Gorse, Bramble, and Broom. It is designed to be effective against these specific weed species.
Key Features
- For use only in established grassland >12 months
- Users should be reminded to wear appropriate PPE: face-shield, gloves, coveralls and rubber boots
- Spray to thoroughly wet the foliage of the plant but run-off should be avoided
- If weeds grow beyond ideal stage, consider cutting the sward and spraying the re-growth
- Allow 2-3 weeks after cutting before applications of Scrubkiller Ultra are made to allow sufficient re-growth.
- Grazing can resume 7 days after application
- This may need to be longer if foliage of poisonous weeds is present
- Allow an interval of minimum 21 days, ideally 28 days before cutting
- Scrubkiller Ultra should not be tank-mixed with phenoxy herbicides e.g. MCPA, 2,4-D, CMPP – this may compromise translocation of Scrubkiller Ultra to the roots
- Keep pets out of treated areas until the spray has dried (normally about 2 hours)
- If weed populations exceed 5% then a broad-acre treatment with Pasture Pack may be more cost effective
Safety
- Pesticides are soluble in water, extra care must be taken to prevent pollution. It is important to adopt effective Stewardship and observe best practice guidelines.
- Keep pesticides in a locked, bunded store.
- Application must be made by a qualified operator.
- Check and calibrate equipment regularly.
- Clear up any spills immediately.
- Consider weather and soil conditions before application.
- Never exceed label rates.
- Clean and wash sprayers at the end of the day.
- Dispose of washings on an untreated area of grassland.
