N-plates must be displayed on the vehicle for a period of 2 years by anyone who receives their first full driving licence from 01 August 2014. These plates should also be displayed on any other vehicle that they obtain a driving licence for during this time.

Key Features

• N Plates are mandatory for those who obtained their first full driving license on or after 1st August 2014.
• The driver must display N-plates on the vehicle or any other vehicle in respect of which they get a driving licence for a period of 2 years. 
  
• The novice period applies once, regardless of obtaining a new category of vehicle after two years.
• Two plates are included in each pack.
